Termite Baiting
Our termite baiting program is provided by Dow Agrosciences. The Sentricon
Termite Colony Elimination System has been proven to eliminate termites from the
structure that it protects.  It works by installing stations around the perimeter of
the structure.  When termites are found in a station the termites are then collected
and placed inside a baitube™.  The baitube™ is then placed back into the station
where the termites begin feeding on the bait.   The bait is a chitin synthesis inhibitor,
which is also known as an Insect Growth Regulator.  An IGR inhibits the termites
ability to molt which means it cannot grow.  If a worker termite cannot molt properly
it will die.  When all the worker termites have died the colony cannot support itself
and the rest of the colony starves to death.  Once colony elimination has been
obtained the baitube™ will be replaced with monitoring devices to monitor for new
colonies.
Holes are drilled using a
power auger
Stations are then installed

When termites are present a bait
